REIWA EXCELLENCE AWARDS
I’m delighted to announce that once again we have received several nominations in this years REIWA Excellence Awards. I’d like to congratulate Harcourts Integrity for their nomination in the Innovation category whilst Harcourts Alliance were nominated in the Large Residential Office of the year category for the second year running. An award they took home last year, so fingers crossed they can make it back to back.
There are also three individuals up for awards this year, all of whom will be representing Harcourts Alliance. Sam Riley and Kaylia Silli have both been nominated in the top Residential Property Manager of the Year Category whilst Rachael Whyte was nominated as the Corporate Support Person of the Year. I’d like to wish all our nominees the very best on the night.
The Awards night is being held on Thursday the 24th October in the Astral Ball room at the Crown Casino. We are currently finalising table numbers so if you would like to attend and help support our nominees, please contact the State Support Team.

The Harcourts Australian Leadership Conference is being held on the 17th & 18th October at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Melbourne. I would encourage all Business Owners and Managers to register for this event.
The two days are designed specifically for Leaders with an outstanding line up of speakers. You will get the opportunity to benchmark your business against similar sized offices from around the country and network with like minded Harcourts people, I look forward to seeing you there.

CHANNEL 9 NEWS
You may have noticed our Harcourts commercial being played on Channel 9 over the last month or so and this month we begin with our weekly market updates. This segment will run during the Channel 9 news every Thursday during the month of October.

FAREWELL JUDITH CRAIG
On Monday I sent out a notification advising of the passing of Judith Craig and yesterday I attended her funeral at Karrakatta Cemetery. Even though these occasions can be sombre, it was Judith’s wish that the day would be a celebration. There were fond memories shared and stories told reminding us of her wit and charm, with her final song request being – Always look on the bright side of life by Monty Python.
Such was her involvement and impact on the Real Estate industry, there was a large turn out from all groups to pay their respects. Judith was a regular at all our Harcourts Functions during her time with the Sunday Times and had a big influence on me both personally and professionally, she will be missed.
